Coundon Court - ACES
Coundon Court U14's girls win the National Aces tournament at Judgemeadow Community College, Leicester - Sat 27 June 2015.
The ACES nationals 2015 is an invitation only tournament, held in a Champions league format over three weekends at the end of June beginning of July. The tournament is held at the superb facilities of Harborough Town FC, Market Harborough, Leics and Judgemeadow Community College Leicester. It is known within the footballing community as the Holy Grail of youth football and is the ONLY National tournament sanctioned & supported by the FA.
The day started early at 0900hrs registration followed by 5 Qualifying group rounds, as follows:
Coundon Court (Coventry) 1 - Bedford 0, Coundon Court 0 - Norwich 0, Coundon Court 1 - Leeds 0, Coundon Court 2 - Oxford 0, Coundon Court 0 - Manchester 0.
The Quarter final followed: Coundon Court 2 - Burton 0 ...then the Semi-Final: Coundon Court 2 - Milton Keynes 0...and the Final: Coundon Court 1 - Norwich 0
