Feb 7th 2012. Full 'Snow' moon captured over Leics skies, UK. The first capture was early evening as the moon passed low on the horizon through the pollution layer. The brighter version is the moon much higher in the evening sky. Quite a stark contrast and good visual indicator of something that is all around us that we can't see directly. Captured with Olympus E5, 90-250mm with x2 TC, yielding a 35mm equiv focal length of 1000mm.
Jan 28 2012. Nice trio of Jupiter, waxing Moon and Venus. Jupiter is 10 o'clock from moon and Venus 5 o'clock. Composed against some nice trees in foreground. Lit via flash burst. Captured with Oly E5, 7-14mm lens. 5s, F4, ISO 500.
