August 14 & 15th 2011. I travelled down to the West Somerset coast for the Perseid display, the same coastline that Samuel Taylor Coleridge walked over 200 yrs ago and which inspired meteor ramblings from his famous poem 'Rime of the Ancient Mariner'. If you look at the large version you will note 3 Perseids and 1 other satellite. The bright moon made watching/capturing difficult this year and the very wide angle shot makes for a good composition but lesser meteor detail. Captured with Olympus E5 & 8mm fisheye. Want to know how I capture shots such as this? - http://tinyurl.com/3pckhkc Thanks to http://www.meteorwatch.org
August 14 2011. ISS is back over UK evening skies. I travelled down to the north Somerset coast for the Perseid display and took the opportunity of killing 2 birds with one stone :-) Captured with Olympus E5 & 8mm fisheye. Want to know how I capture ISS shots such as this? - http://tinyurl.com/4xdnmc3 Thanks to http://www.meteorwatch.org
