Sept 16_17 2010. Startrail captured with Olympus E3, 12-60mm lens. Well impressed with the newly constructed dew shield. The camera lens really does stay dry all night. In this shot the camera started at 2200hrs on 16th until 5am the following morning. Note the really bright line across the middle, this is Jupiter as it passes very close to Earth at the moment. The opposite curvature of the trails is due to the stars location above and below the celestial equator.

Sept 14_15 2010. Startrail captured with Olympus E3, 7-14mm lens and using my newly constructed home made dew shield. I needed it and it seemed to work well.
