01 Aug 2013. What a great start to August. Clear skies all day and night. I located to a nearby high point in Northants, overlooking the wind farm near Catthorpe (M1/J19). The west view is stunning and the sunset was perfect as the setting ball of fire was dropping right between the turbines. This was the last full shot before dropping below horizon. Captured with the Oly OM-D & 75-300mm. The clarity & detail from this lens is fantastic. The orange and red colour courteous of the low level pollution layer. Settings were f6.7, 1/1250s, ISO 200.The turbines make the composition. Very iconic subjects IMO.
