Sky at Night - markhumpage
May 10/11 2011. Startrail showing the opposing curvature above and below the celestial equator. I increased the focal length to around 40mm pointing due south for this shot. It picks up the individual star colours far better than wider angle shots. Captured with Oly E5 & 12-60mm SWD lens which was left outside from 2200hrs to 0700hrs the following morning shooting continuous 15s frames. The cloud rolled in approx 1/2am so only about 3/4 hrs worth of frames in all. Composite put together in startrail software.
