Sky at Night - markhumpage
Star Trail captured on evening/morning March 13/14th 2011. Framed the shot around Polaris using the trees. Captured with Olympus E5 & 7-14mm. Home made dew shield kept the ice/moisture at bay. Camera was put outside at approx 8pm and left out all night until 8am the next morning continuous shooting. 15s exposure @ F4 via remote cable locked (for continual shooting). Over 2000 images imported and stacked to produce final exposure. The waxing moon (60%) just makes an appearance in the bottom left of the frame and which created the nasty wide angle lens shadow on the left side of the image. Caught a meteor too approx 8 o clock.
